ITINERARIES

Know It

India charms and yet bewilders you with her sheer size and complexity. She is a whole continent contained in a country – sprawling from the frozen majestic Himalayas in the north to the sweltering beaches in the south.

Every experience in India is new and different, and the unexpected often happens. Different races, age-old cultures, fascinating languages, exotic styles of dress and every type of scenery make this country a wide plethora of experiences. Camels carrying heavy loads through the deserts, tigers and leopards seen in their natural habitat in the many wildlife sanctuaries, sacred cows ambling sleepily through towns and villages, intermingling with the traffic, the ancient art of snake charmers or even trekking in the unsurpassable beauty of the Himalayas are few of the things that describe the versatility of India.

India follows the cardinal dictum of the tradition of warm hospitality that remains the key incentive for a voyage to India. Avisit polishes this notion into a fine art and allows you to luxuriate in India's past. The ancient aesthetics of the architecture of her cities, the evocative performing arts of music, dance and drama and the tempting array of the different regional cuisines of India, all works towards nourishing your spirit to unimaginable heights.
