Tea drinkers all over the world must be constantly blessing the memory of the person who decided around 1840 that the climate of the Darjeeling regions was very conductive to the growth of tea. Day 4 Darjeeling
Early morning proceed to Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise over the Kanchenjunga peak, and the Ghoom Monastry. Later proceed for a short city tour. Afternoon visit the TUKVER and the ORTHODOX tea estates.

Take a full day tour to the SEEYOK tea estate to see the processing of the Big Organic Tea.

Day 7 Bharatpur
Arr. 0715 hrs. Dep.2000 hrs. A wonderland for birds, visit the renowned Keoladeo Ghana National Park at Bharatpur, once the preserve of the maharajas of Bharatpur anfd now a world heritage site. It is home to 300 species of birds some flying from as far as Siberia and China. Depart for Agra, lunch at Taj View in Agra and proceed to one of the most beautiful monuments ever conceived.The Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jehan to symbolise his eternal love for his queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Day 4 Ahmedabad-Palitana-Somnath
After breakfast journey to Somnath to view the Shiva temple lapped by the warm waters of the Arabian Sea. Continue to Ahmedpur Mandvi for lunch with ample time to relax and swim on the beach. Cross to the island of Diu, once a Portugese colony and famous for its old fort and St. Pauls Church. Return to the Royal Orient for overnight.
Day 5 Somnath-Sasangir Lion Sanctuary-Junagadh
Short train trip to Sasangir, the last haven of the Asian Lion. Morning game drive to see wildlife. Travel to Junagadh where you will inspect the 3rd century BC rock edict of Ashoka visit Darbar Hall Museum and the Mausoleum of Mahabat Khanji.
Day 6 Junagadh-Ahemedabad
On arrival in Ahmedabad you will see the Adalaj 'step-well'. Next is a humbling visit to the ashram of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Calico Museum, then a beautiful Jain Temple and Sidi Sayadd's mosque built in 1572. Your day finishes with shopping at the Gujarat State Emporium.
Day 7 Ahemedabad-Jaipur
Arrive in the Pink city of Jaipur. Sightseeing includes the Palace of the Winds, Observatory and City Palace. After lunch you will mount elephants for the climb to Amber Fort.Transfer to hotel.
Day 8 Jaipur-Agra
By road to Agra via the abandoned capital of Fatehpur Sikri.Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 Agra

Indrail Passes should be used within one year of issue. Validity period starts from the date of the first train journey and ends on the midnight of the last journey.
During the period of validity, foreign tourists can travel from anywhere to anywhere on the Indian Railways network without route or train restrictions and without payment of additional charges.
